NUTS for Peanut Putty!
These Peanut Putties are great! I didn't pay attention to the dimensions when I ordered them, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to discover that they are larger than a "Silly Putty" egg. The putty matches the color of the peanut that it is encased in and both are translucent. The two halves of the peanut snap closed tightly. I'd imagine this will keep the putty "fresh", but you do need to give the case a bit of a gentle squeeze along where the seam  is & then pry an end open. The putty's appearance is that of slime, but the consistency is like that of "Silly Putty". It can be rolled into a ball shape, bounced, stretched and when you pull pieces off of it, there's a satisfying little snap. I plan to hand these out to students during Read Across America Week in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday (Horton Hears A Who! - "Horton's Peanuts").
