Our mission is to put your school supply order on the road or in the air within 1 to 3 business days. In addition to our speedy service, GEDDES offers several affordable shipping options to meet nearly every shopper's needs.

In order to ensure that your package is delivered into the right hands, our shipping company requires all packages to be released by a signature. Additionally, we need orders for School and PTA/PTO Accounts to be sent to a fixed school address that serves as both the Billing and Shipping address.

Shipping Costs

Free shipping with orders $150.00 and over to states within the contiguous USA.

Orders placed after 1 PM (Eastern Standard Time) will not ship until the following day.

We offer the following shipping options: Regular Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air.

Regular Ground shipping received a flat rate when shipped to locations within the contiguous United States. Orders greater than $150.00 that ship via Regular Ground within the contiguous USA are eligible to receive free shipping. Actual shipping rates apply for deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories. Please refer to the chart below for Regular Ground shipping costs.

Shipping Options

2nd Day Air and Next Day Air

Express shipping options for 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air are calculated based on weight of the order and delivery zone. During checkout, you will have the option to select your desired shipping and see the actual charges before subitting the order.

Priority Mail and Parcel Post

Priority Mail and Parcel Post shipping options are delivered by the US Postal Service (USPS). These delivery options are used for shipments to PO Box addresses. These options may be selected by GEDDES in order to deliver to regions not serviced affordably by UPS or FedEx.

UPS SurePost - Small Package Delivery

We utilize UPS SurePost to ship low-weight, small package backorders and non-bulk items (i.e. a set of pens, a pack of markers, etc.). SurePost service typically delivers in 7-10 business days.

APO/FPO Customers

Orders shipped to APO and FPO addresses receive the same regular ground shipping rates as shipments to addresses within the contiguous United States, but are shipped by US Postal Service delivery. APO/FPO orders may take 3 to 5 weeks for delivery.

Tracking Your Shipment

Unless you have selected a different carrier, we use UPS to deliver your Regular Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipments. When your order is shipped, we will email you a shipping confirmation notice containing your order tracking number and a link to the Tracking page.

In the event you are unable to track down your shipment, emails regarding your shipment can be directed to our Customer Service Center at Please include your Customer Number in the body of your email, as well as your order's confirmation number.


In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, you can still add it to your cart and checkout. It will be placed on backorder and shipped as soon as we have it back in stock.

Your account or credit card will only be billed for the cost of the backordered items when they are ready to be shipped. You will not be charged any additional shipping fees for any items on backorder.
