Geddes’ Commitment to Product Safety
Dear Customer, As a family-owned business in operation since 1924, Raymond Geddes & Co., Inc. believes that fostering a family type atmosphere for our employees and customers is paramount to our success. As such, we believe it to be essential to carry safe merchandise for our customers and particularly for our youngest customers. We make every effort to ensure the safety of our products and packaging for our customers. We believe this is an obligation for operating a responsible business, and a vital part of building and maintaining customer trust in our products. We thoroughly evaluate the safety of all products and using established review methods to understand any potential risks. This evaluation is an integral part of the company’s product development process, beginning in the earliest stages of design and continuing throughout a product’s life. As a part of the product safety process, all safety evaluations and appropriate safety tests are formally documented and approved by company management. If the safety of an item is ever in question, we elect not to offer that item.
